Just messing about (EXPERMENTING) this afternoon.
If this makes sense you may see what I was about.
In the first picture the camera was set to F8 / 100 iso at about 16 foot .
Of course they are all with my 500mm lens on a tripod with a 10 sec delay .
The file sizes are 24,576 x 16,384 px and 8,192 x 5,464 px . the quality dosen't look any different at first sight
but you can't tell on the forum sized files any way. Looking at them again on my tablet the detail on the 400mp image is lots better than the 45mp one
The pictures have only been cropped nothing else and the original picture to show where they came from is also there.
the second set are the same but at 30 foot.

Re: Canon R5 400M V 45M Experiment
These two were both hand held @ 6400 iso 1/3200 sec shutter speed.
I don't think I'll be doing wildlife, street or macro with it.

The first lot all look really good, but if you were blowing them up a load then the 400mp file would be the one to go for.
The last one made me smile, do Canon claim you can hand hold it?

Don't think hand held was mentioned .I thought 1/3200 th might just do it.
They did say that it would not have any problem with moving subjects in the frame but that doesn't work
the blogger 's pic's had artifact's. All that being said I think it's great that they are putting new stuff out there
for a 3 1/2 year old camera.

Yes it`s pretty good, Canon has got better and Fuji has got worse.
