Adle Dam

#1 Post by SteveC »

Some from yesterday.
It was dark and sometimes raining so the ISO was high and spoilt some of the shots noise and colour wise but I still like them.
I had to run to the Cafe to beat about 50 old ladies who were heading there, about 50 yds in front of me. :? :? :?
The next to the last one I thought was some fantastic bird of Prey but I had just walked in the hide when I spotted it.

Nice shots, 8-) 8-)

I went to Fairburn on Tuesday to do a bit of high ISO testing in really bad light. All shots were taken at 3200 ISO and 6400 ISO with both the XT4 and XH1. XH1 was marginally better but all shots were very useable and I won`t hesitate to use those speeds again. :D :D :D

How was the hide?

That's good to hear , it's always handy to have the extra speed .
The X-t3 is not very good over 1250 ,I don't think I would use above that unless it was a nice day.
The hide is OK but the set up is a bit Naff. The water was brown sludge covered with green Algae.
I didn't think you were going out or I'd have rung you. It was great for testing high ISO there Dark & Miserable. :P :P :P
